Philanthropy

Part of the LLOYD philosophy is giving back to the community and well beyond. The Lloyd family is an advocate of education and personally supports many scholarships for area students and well as many area community projects. This year the company and Lloyd Family Foundation donated to scholarship funds for:

  • Iowa College Foundation
  • Iowa Western Community College Veterinary Technology Program
  • Iowa Western Community College Nursing Program
  • Iowa Western Community College Business Program
  • American Board of Veterinary Toxicologists Scholarship Fund
  • 4-H Foundation Scholarship
  • Farmhouse Fraternity Scholarships

  • Dennis Lloyd Scholarship available for journalism, graphic arts or photography

 

LLOYD, Inc., with concern for people and animals in need all over the world, continues it's commitment to charitable giving of both time and resources. In the past these efforts have included giving to victims of the Japan tsunami, Indonesian tsunami, hurricane Katrina and the earthquake in Haiti.

 Locally the company supports Relay For Life (donations to the American Cancer Society), People For Paws (an organization that helps find homes for displaced animals), and the Shenandoah Medical Center, as well as contributing to many other community and civic activities.
