The original division of LLOYD, Inc., Vet-A-Mix was founded in 1958 by Dr. W. Eugene Lloyd, a practicing veterinarian, who recognized the need for certain pharmaceutical and nutritional products that were not available to the profession. Dr Lloyd has put together an organization to manufacture and distribute specialized nutritional supplements and innovative pharmaceuticals.
The focus has changed from food-producing to companion animal products, but the original goal of providing products "Designed for the Profession" is still true today.
